Your agreement
These terms cover the Matilda Train platform at train.matilda.com, supplied by Maincode Pty Ltd, ABN 33 682 917 059. Read them with the Compute credit policy and Training privacy notice. They apply to training services, rather than a recurring Matilda chat subscription.
The person buying credits must have legal capacity to enter this agreement and authority to spend for the selected billing account. Joining a company workspace does not by itself authorize you to purchase for that company. A separately signed company agreement governs any conflicting commercial terms, while rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unchanged.
Accounts and company workspaces
Keep sessions, API credentials and MCP grants secure. Tell security@maincode.com promptly about suspected compromise. You remain responsible for the work you authorize and for ensuring your team has permission to use its data and software.
A verified company email address may enroll you in a company workspace when Maincode has approved that domain for the company. The company pays for work submitted to that billing account. Its authorized billing administrators can see account costs and stop company-funded jobs. They do not gain access to another member’s files or job content solely through a billing role. Platform administration requires a separate appointment.
Pricing and metering
Choose the paying workspace, fleet, currency and booking model before submitting. A quote identifies the applicable rate and maximum allocation charge. Accepted jobs keep their recorded payer and rate version. Later price changes apply to new allocations, not retrospectively to already accepted work.
Metered jobs are charged for allocated resource seconds, including allocated time while your code waits or is idle. Queue time is free. The maximum allocation charge is reserved before admission; unused funding is released after accounting completes. Cancellation may take time, and resources allocated before it finishes remain chargeable. A saved payment method alone does not supply compute credit.
GST and any other applicable taxes are shown before payment. Tax does not become spendable compute credit. There is no separate card payment surcharge. An approved invoice account pays according to its recorded invoice agreement. Reserved capacity requires separate agreed terms and is not offered merely by buying general compute credits.
Service and acceptable use
Use the platform lawfully and respect other users’ data, software licences, intellectual property and applicable export restrictions. Do not bypass isolation or quotas, attack the platform or other systems, use stolen payment methods, or deliberately degrade shared infrastructure.
Capacity and scheduling policies apply to every account. A funded job can wait for suitable resources. An unlimited invoice agreement removes a billing-account spending cap; it does not promise unlimited physical capacity or remove resource, security or fair-use limits. Preemptible runs require explicit consent and checkpoints; an interruption can end an allocation and a new attempt needs new authorization.
We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, overdue amounts or a material breach. Where practical we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Suspension does not automatically confiscate unused purchased credit.
Your data and service problems
You keep your rights in your code, datasets, checkpoints and outputs. You authorize the processing needed to run your jobs and operate the service. Keep independent backups of valuable work; platform storage is not a promise that data can never be lost.
Report a failed or incorrectly billed allocation to hello@maincode.com with its job or request ID. We investigate the accounting and preserve the original usage evidence. An operational compute-credit adjustment is separate from any refund or other remedy you are entitled to under law.
Consumer rights, cancellation and disputes
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. These rights may apply to business customers as well as individuals. Where the law requires a refund or another remedy, it is not limited to additional compute credits.
Contact hello@maincode.com to request account closure, a refund or a billing review. The Compute credit policy explains purchased and promotional balances. We will consider your request and explain the outcome. A time limit for reporting an operational issue does not extinguish statutory rights.
Victorian law governs this agreement, subject to mandatory laws that apply to you. Contact legal@maincode.com to try to resolve a dispute. Nothing here removes a right to approach a regulator, tribunal or court with jurisdiction. Material changes will be notified before they apply; new purchase terms require new acceptance. Changes do not retrospectively remove existing purchased balances or accrued rights.
